About Huskai

Huskai is a UK-based, bootstrapped software company that builds AI-powered tools for small businesses. We exist because independent sellers deserve better software — tools that are simple, affordable, and don’t take a cut of every sale.

What we build

Our first product is Haul — an e-commerce platform designed specifically for independent sellers in the United Kingdom. Haul includes everything needed to run an online shop: product listings with unlimited variants, checkout via Stripe, order management, a page builder, customer reviews, discount codes, VAT invoices, and stock control. Every feature is included in every plan, with zero transaction fees. Plans start from £15 per month.

Unlike platforms that charge you more as you sell more, Haul has a flat monthly subscription. The only per-sale cost is Stripe’s standard UK payment processing fee (1.5% + 20p per transaction). We never take a percentage of your revenue.

Why we started

We started Huskai because we saw small sellers struggling with platforms that weren’t built for them. Etsy takes 11–27% of every sale. Shopify charges transaction fees and locks essential features behind paid apps. Squarespace and Wix bolt on e-commerce as an afterthought.

Independent sellers — the craft makers, pet product creators, food producers, fashion brands, and beauty businesses — deserve a platform that works for them. One that includes everything out of the box, doesn’t penalise growth, and doesn’t require a computer science degree to set up.

  • Transparent. Our pricing is public. Our policies are plain English. If we make a mistake, we say so.
